I am celebrating my 10 years of Geocaching on this date. I have been looking back at the many adventures and great people that I have met along the way. From the Adventures of Team Stupie to Caching Across America Road Trip, I have truly enjoyed my time with this global community. So, I wanted to do something different for The Geocachers of West Tennessee. I decided by publish something GOWT does not currently have...... A Wherigo Geocache!

If this is your First attempt at a Wherigo, try the Tutorial first.
The cache is NOT at the posted coords; it is however a starting point. This is a Wherigo type cache. You will need to download and play the Wherigo cartridge "The Kessel Run" from the Wherigo website to complete this Wherigo/Geocache and find the physical container.

Current compatible wherigo enabled devices are the Garmin Oregon, Colorado, and the Nuvi 500. If you do not have one of these units you can still experience and complete this Wherigo using a smartphone app or pocketPC with a GPS and the Wherigo Player installed . The Kessel Run!!
CACHE INFO: This will take some walking to complete( between 2-3 miles), but it will be 95% flat, paved areas of Shelby Farms. Please bring a pen. There is a FTF Wooden Nickel for the FTF prize. Please obey all laws of the city of Memphis. Shelby Farms is open from Dawn to Dusk(do not attempt at night!). You must sign the log to get credit for the find. For most of the year, expect to find some Muggles in the area. Remember to use stealth....Be careful, be safe, and have fun! Happy Hunting!
