Geocache Description:

This cache will NOT be found at the posted coordinates.

You will ascertain the coordinates after you have performed all the required tasks of the

Adventurelab "Good Grief, Charlie Brown".

Santa Rosa was blessed for many years to have Charles Schulz living and working here.  As we all know, he was an American cartoonist and creator of the comic strip PEANUTS. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time.  He moved west from Minnesota in the late 50's to Sonoma County. He was an avid Ice hockey player and built and owned the Redwood Empire Ice Arena.  He skated in the Senior Hockey Tournament that occurs yearly at the arena.  Several of our local children and adults have been lucky enough to be able to skate here for many years.

The PEANUTS comic strip was written and illustrated by Schulz from 1950 until his death in 2000.  It still continues as reruns.  Among others the main characters of the strip include: Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Linus and Lucy, Peppermint Patty and Marcie, and Woodstock.

We have highlighted a few of these characters in our trip around Santa Rosa and hope you have enjoyed the adventure.
