You MUST sign the log that is inside the cache (really it is in there) to retain credit for this large sized cache hidden on Moose Creek Trail.
Directions to Moose Creek Trail: Exit Old Hwy 2 between Butte and Whitehall, turning north onto Toll Mountain/Upper Rader Creek Road. At 1.3 miles, where the road splits, veer left on Toll Mountain Road. At 1.9 miles, you may park near Toll Mountain Campground. You can drive further yet if you have a high-clearance vehicle, some bravery, and dry road conditions. From the campground, it is another 1.3 miles on rough mountain road to the Moose Creek TH, which is easy to miss. Parking at the TH is off-road only. Look for the Moose Creek Trail 86 sign left of the Elkhorn Spring cattle trough.
