This cache is hidden in Karohl Park. There is an active frisbee golf course here and possibly high muggle activity, so using stealth while finding the cache will help ensure longevity of the hide.
This tribute cache goes out to a very good friend and caching partner and his team (family). Sciwiz1 and his wife have been caching since 8/9/2007 when they found and logged their very first find, “The Santa Fe” (GC10FVK), a now archieved mystery cache in Galesburg, Ill. Since then, they have cached in 24 states and D.C. and have logged approx. 89,965 miles finding those 10,000 caches. I have been fortunate to have been on several caching runs and epic geocaching trips with Mr. sciwiz1, some of them taking us to Wisconsin, Chicago, Pennsylvania, New York and D.C. I remember caching in 6 states in one day and clearing out all of Delaware’s counties in one day, even though there were only 3! Those are some moments I will remember all my life.
Somewhere in all of that caching they found time to add 2 more promising geocachers to their team, sciwizkid1 and sciwizkid2. They all shared the experience of finding their 10,000th cache together when they found “BIG THINGS Are In Store!” (GC7B8KF) on 7/12/21.
