Marnion is a tale of Flodden Field,a historical romance in verse of 16th century Britian by Sir Walter Scott published in 1808. It concludes with the battle of Flodden. The poem tells how Lord Marmion lusts for Clara De Clare, a rich woman, but Clare retires to a convent in Lindisfarne.
