Welcome to another favorite spot of ours for many, many moons. Mud Lake is a natural area with an easy walk on maintained dirt trails. It is perfect for humans, bicycles, horses, and dogs. The area is owned by Wild Bear Nature Center out of Nederland and they are planning on building a new nature center at this location next year.
If you are hanging in Nederland for the day and you get a chance to check out their existing location, you should. They have goods from local artists available and if you have children, they have a lovely hedgehog named Belle that will sometimes come out to say hello =)
