Attending a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event is a great way to meet new geocaching friends and to help give back to the areas where we play. The City of Seattle provides the supplies, and we supply the people power.
From March 1 to August 31, 2021 you will receive a SOUVENIR for the first CITO you attend. THIS IS ONE OF YOUR LAST.....OPPORTUNITIES!
This month's CITO location was:
- Recommended by: Gulliver_Snip and his hard-working CITO kids!!
- Located: at Golden Gardens and along the Burke Gilman trail
As before, I will bring all the supplies needed - bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and safety vests. Please log your "Will Attend" so I bring enough supplies. I look forward to seeing everyone.
As most of my regular CITO participants know, I completed my geocaching goal to host a CITO event every month in 2019. Of course it was not possible to continue this tradition in 2020. For 2021, with YOUR help I am starting a new tradition. I would like to host CITOs throughout Seattle, based on locations that my CITO participants think need our help with trash pickup. If you attend one of my CITOs, then you can recommend the next location for cleanup!
This event is possible because of the City of Seattle's Adopt-a-Street program. But it's powered by geocachers.
Event occurs, rain or shine, or even snow! This is Seattle after all!
