Murraysburg Meander
The village itself has a population of about 6000 people, the majority of whom are Khoi descendants. The vallage is quiet and peaceful. Some parts are run down, but many houss have been beautifully restored and are treasured properties. The town is dominated by the magnificent Datch Reformed Church, which was built in about 1900. It was recently restored and is in fine condition, including a church clock and bells that work
There is food, fuel and reasonable accommodation neaby. Some of the convinience stores close very late.
The local health clinic and hospital is down the hill from the cache, and there is a police station in town.
