Although the geocache placed by Tourism Mission doesn't require a flight to Japan, the search to find it does take you through a wonderful traditional Japanese garden. Look for the "Oyama Friendship Garden" sign, step under its arch, and then turn your eyes to the Fraser River (left).
The Oyama Friendship Garden was established to honour the contributions of Mission's pioneers of Japanese heritage and to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Mission's sister city relationship with the town of Oyama, Japan.
Once you've found the cache, feel free to take a walk through the garden and enjoy its peace and quiet before you go and explore the rest of Mission!
