Murraysburg meander
In the foothills of the Toorwerberg (towering mountain) near Colesberg, the last of the kwaggas, a species of antelope, were killed in about 1870.
The last of the distinct species of Cape lion was shot in 1836, and the ;last of the blue buck also about the same time. Now all gone, extinct, and never to walk this earth again.
