Třístoličník je vrchol v jižní části Šumavy s výškou 1323 m. Vypravil jsem se sem poprvé s rodinou a kamarády v létě 2011 a je to jeden z mála šumavských kopců, kam se pravidelně rád vracím, každý rok alespoň jednou. Nedokážu říct proč se mi tady pořád líbí, ale je to prostě taková moje srdeční záležitost. Výhled z vrcholu je parádní, nejen na okolní Šumavu, je ale vidět i Temelín :-) a za hezkého počasí se ukážou dokonce i Alpy! I se tam moc krásně spí pod širákem! :-)
Výlety na vrchol se dají podnikat pěší např. z Nového Údolí po červené, z hřebene od Plechého, z německého Haidmühle nebo kolmo, z Německa. My s Verunkou a Anežkou podnikli několikrát i kombinaci. Vyrazili jsme na kolech ze Stožce na Nové Údolí, pak po červené nahoru a kola schovali v lese na odbočce z Trojmezné cesty. Zpět jsme se lecdy vraceli za šera nebo dokonce i po tmě.
Tak jsem si řekl, že je škoda tam nemít vlastní kešku a teď se i tak stalo! Přeju úspěšný odlov a k tomu hezké počasí!
Málem bych zapomněl... Třístoličník má vlastně tři vrcholy se skalními věžemi, které s trochou fantazie připomínají trůny. Podle pověsti na nich v dávné minulosti sedávali králové Čech, Rakouska a Bavor a těšili se dalekým výhledem. Odtud vzniklo jméno vrcholu. Používaly se rovněž názvy Třízubec (název kešky) nebo Říruřec. Německy se vrchol jmenuje Dreisesselberg.
Pozor, keš se nachází v přírodní rezervaci Hochwald, prosím neopouštějte značené cesty.

Třístoličník is a peak in the southern part of Šumava with a height of 1323 m. I went here for the first time with my family and friends in summer 2011 and it is one of the few Šumava hills to which I return regularly, at least once per year. I cannot say why I always like it here, but it is simply my matter of the heart. The view from the top is great! People can see not only the surrounding Šumava, but also the Temelín power station :-) and in nice weather even the Alps! It is also possible to sleep here very beautifully under the stars! :-)
The trips to the top can be taken by foot, for example, from Nové Údolí using the red path, from the ridge from Plechý, from german Haidmühle or by bike, from Germany. Verunka and Anežka and me have realized a combination of foot-bikes several times. We took bikes from Stožec to Nové Údolí, then up by the red path. Then, we hid the bicycles in the forest at the turn of the Trojmezná cesta road. We often returned at dusk or even after dark.
So I thought it was a shame not to have my own cache there and now it has happened! I wish you a successful caching and a nice weather!
I almost forgot ... Třístoličník has in fact three peaks with rock towers, which resemble thrones (with a little imagination). According to a legend, the kings of Bohemia, Austria and Bavaria sat on them in the distant past and enjoyed a distant view. Hence the name of the summit. The names Třízubec (the name of the cache) or Říruřec were also used. In German, the peak is called Dreisesselberg.
Please note that the cache is located in the Hochwald nature reserve, please do not leave the official paths.
