This Geocache is in honor of Mike Goullee. A brother, son, fiance and friend.
As a 30 year old bushpilot, Mike spent most his days in the air and took his final flight out of this relm into the next on 30 June, 2020.

His zest for life inspired all around him and we hope this little spot brings you joy and appreciation for the beauty and wonder of the outdoors here in this special town Mike called home.

Keep an eye out for the playful seals! The lagoon is home to a rich variety of sealife, water birds and of course the infamous Knysna Seahorse.
The Heads is also notoriously dangerous for large ships to enter the lagoon and the old Paquita Wreck can be snorckled at low tide just below the lighthouse.
During low tide, one can cross the lagoon from here onto Leisure Island by foot, a brilliant walk after a Sunday Breakfast!
Best of all is a mellow swim at the small beach under the milkwood trees around the corner.
