Коростишівський каньйон – затоплений гранітний кар’єр за один кілометр від міста Коростишів. Всього є два кар’єри. Маленький кар’єр, який прозвали каньйоном та великий кар’єр, який розташовується безпосередньо в місті. Але саме малий кар’єр користується найбільшою популярністю. Граніт у Коростишеві почали добувати ще в 19 столітті. Зараз Коростишів один із головних центрів гранітодобувної промисловості України.
Каньйон має форму підкови з озером всередині. Навколо озера стоять гранітні скелі та росте ліс. З однієї сторони є облаштований пляж, де ви зможете зайти у воду та дерев’яні альтанки.На пляжі звичайно можна купатися.
Велике враження справляє прозора вода, в ній ідеально видно дно.Коростишівський каньйон – це неймовірно гарне місце, яке зачаровує своєю красою. Ліс, скелі та озеро разом утворюють єдину цілісну композицію. Але найбільше вражають гранітні скелі. Вони мають пристойну висоту і там навіть тренуються скелелази. Тому дивитися зверху внизу може бути доволі лячно (якщо боїтесь висоти). Також радимо вам обійти кар’єр навколо, бо гарно там всюди.

Therefore, looking from top to bottom can be quite scary (if you are afraid of heights). We also recommend that you go around the quarry, because it's good everywhere.
