This one is in Green Park, behind Allen Fire Station # 4. If you have a moment, stop into the station and tell the crew thank you for choosing their profession. These guys have a lot of pride serving Allen residents and they're likely to tell you how thankful they are for the state-of-the art living quarters and equipment paid for by Allen residents.
The playground next door was replaced in 2017 with a custom, "first responders" themed playground. One structure, designed for 5-12 year old children, is fire fighter themed with a fire truck, fire house and a tower. The police themed unit is designed for 2-5 year old children and includes a police cruiser and police station. Throughout the playground, you’ll find City of Allen custom components, such as the city and fire department logos, and even the fire truck and ambulance have numbers that correspond to specific vehicles within the city’s fleet. This playground is sure to entertain all ages.
