Designed by Arthur Coke-Hill and completed in 1885 St Barnabas serves the area between Ashbourne Road and Uttoxeter Road, The original design for the church was never completed as there should have been a tall tower and spire.
The church is set on the corner of Bass Street and Radbourne Street at the top of a large hill and can be seen from quite a distance away.
The interior of the church includes a social space at the rear of the church , A fine chancel screen and a basement area.
The cache is just outside the church grounds and is a Nano.
