This is our way of paying homage to our family's roots - the Philippines. On the Philippines flag, you will find a white triangle representing liberty, equality, and fraternity; a blue stripe representing peace, truth and justice; and a red stripe representing patriotism and valor. In the white triangle, you will find 3 yellow stars (representing Luzon, Panay, and Mindanao) and a sun with 8 rays representing the first 8 provinces that courageously defied and revolted against the Spaniards for independence.
So, in honor of the 8 Rays of the Sun on the flag of the Philippines, there will be 8 caches in this series!
