This cache is in Scott Park in beautiful Camden, SC. Camden is steeped in history with lots of historical places to visit. The cache has been placed off of the paved walking trail into the woods about 5 or so yards. The entrance to the woods at this point is a bit sparce, and the cache sits at the bottom of "triplet" hardwoods. It is in an olive drab 11.5 x 5.25 x 7.25 field box. It is filled with tokens, trinkets, cabochons and kiddie toys. The log is in a baggie inside the watertight box.
Scott Park is a well maintained park with beautiful tennis courts, a paved walking trail, and equestrian track, and plenty of parking. This is one of several caches in the vicinity of the park, so you can spend your day geocaching, visiting historical sites or both. Have fun!
