The purpose of this event is to help clean up the parking lot plus the naturalized areas that surround it. There is plenty of parking here and lots of room to spread out.
I will be located at the posted coordinates and will have a logbook for individuals to sign if you wish. I will also have a few prizes as well. Both of these features are optional.
This area usually has a large amount of discarded alcohol cans/bottles and cachers are welcome to collect them and return them for the deposit. These will obviously be available on a first come, first CITO'ed basis. The terrain off the parking lot ranges from about 2.0 to 3.0 but the lot itself is a T 1.0.
I will have garbage bags and gloves available but feel free to bring your own. If you have any kind of trash grabbing device, feel free to bring that too. There are establishments nearby for beverages and food but of course you can bring your own. Having some bug spray on hand might be a good idea too since this will not be supplied.
Trash will be collected and moved to the entrance of the parking lot where garbage is picked up regularly by the municipality. You can either help to move it there at the end or feel free to deposit your bag on your way out. Either option will be greatly appreciated!
