The geocache is located just across from the pub on the opposite side of the road. There is ample roadside parking nearby making this an easy drive/cycle by cache. This can be linked with caches nearby for a circular walk around Brougham, calling in for refreshments at the cross keys upon your return!
Located on the eastern edge of Penrith close to the ruins of Brougham Castle the Cross Keys Inn at Carleton Village is a traditional country inn that has a good reputation for its food. The inn once providing rest for the drovers that brought their Kyloes cattle down from Scotland into England to be sold at markets.
