Once a nice, two-story colonial home that has undergone a series of remodeling, this house now has been sitting vacant for a long time, with the exception of a few teenagers who visit each year in the fall to explore urban legends that the overgrown property is haunted. It has been said that those who have trespassed this property have performed some dark seances, and claims of phantoms passing the decaying windows can be seen occassionally. Dead animals have been found there, where bones seem to be used. Creepy.
Whether or not it's true, this sad looking property unfortunately poses as a major fire hazard, an eye-sore, and there has been no more effort in either fixing the place, or tearing it down. But, the urban legends continue to grow with local police reports and rumors of ghostly apparitions.
As neat as it is, Please DO NOT trespass onto this property to Explore it. Please! This Geocache is located opposite of the house to help prevent this. Feel free to get a good look, and who knows? Maybe you'll see a ghost (...or tumbleweeds!).
