After 185 finds I finally decided it's about time to hide one. Some years back when my little wiener dog was in her prime, you could find us wandering up and down the river fishing and exploring. She's gone now but I like to stop out here now and then and think back to our glory years. To find this cache you will need to take a decent hike down to the river. It may or may not be accessible in winter. It depends on how deep the snow gets and how determined you are. There are a few different paths you can take from the main trail to get here. The ground in this area is wet and the mosquitoes would have carried me away if I was just a couple pounds lighter. Shorts are not a good idea down here but I'll never learn.
