Ob imenu Vogel marsikdo najprej pomisli na smučišče Vogel, ki se nahaja v bližini istoimenskega vrha. S severne strani ga prepoznamo po piramidasti obliki, ki daje gori lep videz. Razgled z vrha je čudovit saj se vidi del Primorske, veriga Spodnjih Bohinjskih gora in Triglav z okolico. Proti jugu nam v oči pade Žabiški Kuk in desno spodaj planina Razor, ki je izhodišče za lepe ture.

When the name Vogel is used, many people first think of the Vogel ski resort, which is located near the peak of the same name. From the north, it is recognizable by its pyramidal shape, which gives the mountain a beautiful appearance. The view from the top is beautiful as you can see part of Primorska, the chain of the Lower Bohinj Mountains and Triglav and its surroundings. Towards the south, we notice Žabiški Kuk and below right, the Razor mountain, which is the starting point for beautiful tours.
