This is a replacement of the original cache, and we thought it should come back. Summertime means muggles here, so please be VERY discreet. Log only, BYOP. It is a very small container, but if the log gets pushed in too far you might need a pointed tweezer to get it out. Please replace as found.
Frank, a former 25-year city councilman, informed us that the city of Grand View originally built this location and named it Rio Lindo (lovely river). Not too long after, however, liability issues forced the city to abandon the responsibility and turn it over to Idaho Power, who still maintains it today. No locals we asked knew the name of this site except the former councilman. iI was interesting talking to people and getting a bit of history.
