This Cache is a magentic micro. Log only. BYOP. TOTT, Cache is not at posted co-ordinates .

 

Please replace as found and take care with children around the lough. Suitable footwear may be required. Please respect this area and club land, we have got permission from the club to use there lands. Everyone is welcome. Please be aware of local wildlife and farm land. Try operate Cache in Trash out in this area and bring your litter home.

A 3 hectare (7.5 acres) lake close to the town of Rathfriland that is used as a trout fishery owned by the Rathfriland Angling club. It is stocked with rainbow trout, but also contains some pike and perch. Drumlough has a number of angling platforms in place, a shelter and an outdoor rod storage facility

Drumlough (IrishDruim Loch) is a village/townland in County DownNorthern Ireland, southwest of Rathfriland, and is located in the civil parish of Drumgath.

Drumlough Highland Pipe Band was formed in 1942 and although no longer competing at RSPBA competition level, some of its members play for other bands at Grades 2 and 4.

Drumlough Lake is a small fishery that is managed by Rathfriland Angling Club. The lake contains some invasive rainbow trout, indigenous perch, Rudd and European Eel in summer months. Although specimen pike have been caught in recent seasons they have been eradicated from the lake since 2020.
