Girovagando su Facebook nella pagina del Comune di Crespina Lorenzana, mi sono imbattuto in un post in cui si diceva di un intervento di recupero di questi antichi lavatoi posti nel comune di Lorenzana. Purtroppo non ne conosco la storia (e fino a poco fa neanche l'esistenza), fatto sta che grazie a questo mio girovagare sono riuscito a scoprirli, e dunque a proporvi una cache... :)
Oggi è scontato avere l'acqua in casa, basta aprire il rubinetto e in pochi secondi esce calda o fredda.
In passato, fino agli anni '60 del secolo scorso, la popolazione di Lorenzana non disponeva di acqua corrente nelle proprie abitazioni: per bere, per lavarsi e per i bisogni fisiologici, la gente doveva procurarsela tutti i giorni dell'anno recandosi presso alcune fonti sparse sul territorio.
Gli abitanti del paese "dipendevano" da due fonti abbastanza grandi: "Il Fontino", ubicata a nord del paese, nei pressi del Camposanto, e "l'Alberaccio", in cui le donne potevano anche lavare i propri panni grazie alla presenza di alcune pile.

Wandering on Facebook in the page of the Municipality of Crespina Lorenzana, I came across a post that said of a recovery of these ancient wash places in the town of Lorenzana. Today it is obvious to have water in the house, just open the tap and in a few seconds comes out hot or cold.
In the past, until the sixties of the last century, the population of Lorenzana did not have running water in their homes: to drink, to wash and for physiological needs, The people had to get it every day of the year, going to some sources scattered over the territory.
The inhabitants of the village "depended" on two fairly large sources: "Il Fontino", located north of the village, near the Camposanto, and "l'Alberaccio", where women could also wash their clothes thanks to the presence of some tanks.
