The Myponga River starts near Delabole Hill (near Pages Flat) at an elevation of 297m and flows into the Southern Ocean at Myponga Beach. The Myponga River drops around 295m over its 25.6km length. The Myponga River flows through Myponga Reservoir (elevation 215m).
