Back in 2011, not long after she started geocaching, muddajay (my mom) placed this container in Hudson. She loved reading logs from finders and hearing about their adventures! After she died, I adopted it out to trekk3r. When they moved away and could no longer maintain the cache, they archived it. I stopped by on my way to the YMCA, and rescued the container.
I repainted the cache so that it would blend in more in a rural atmosphere. I noticed that the caches around Warren Park had mostly been archived, so I decided to place a few new ones out here. There are definite signs of critters in the area. Make noise as you trek along the trails, so that you don't startle them. Be aware that I saw a lot of poison ivy and buckthorn (if you don't know the difference between chokecherry and buckthorn...don't eat the berries!). But I also saw blackberries and strawberry plants. Enjoy the area.
Have fun finding this one!
