This is the second of a series of caches along a nice little back road near the airport. Each of the three caches in this series contains a clue to use in finding the final cache in the series (West End Road Final), which is also located somewhere along the road.
This should be a fairly easy park-n-grab, or if you are so inclined you could park at one end of the road and bike, or even walk, to the other finding caches along the way. If you decide to drive, please be aware of traffic, there generally isn’t a lot of it, but at times I’ve seen quite a few cars going by (and on the weekends, bikers, skaters, walkers, etc.). This is a rather narrow road so be sure to pull as far off the road as possible, there should be plenty of room near this cache.
Although you will only have to go a short way into the woods to retrieve this cache, please be wary of wildlife. While scouting cache locations one evening I saw a small black bear along the roadway, and although I haven’t seen them, I’m sure there are plenty of moose in the area.
I took multiple sets of readings at this cache location and then tried to take the average, but there was a bit of a discrepancy so hopefully I got it close. If my readings are off, please let me know and I’ll update the coordinates.
