HELLO!? This is the first in our series of Forgotten Payphone Caches.
This working payphone is sitting along the Aptos Creek Fire Road right after the single-lane bridge. It is located in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, filled with mountain biking and hiking. When we dropped this off, we were doing the Porter Trail hike that has a swing hanging above the creek.
This is a LOG ONLY cache in a NANO-SIZED container, so bring your own writing instrument.
Parking is available inside the park (and not far from the cache) but there is a $8 parking fee (or free with your California State Park Pass).
