Geocache Description:

I've never seen anyone else walking in this field so I figured this would be a great spot for a cache, in case someone doesn't know about it. There are signs depticing the Battle of Peckuwe (Piqua) if you want more information. This was the site of one of the last battles of the Revolutionary war. In 1780 George Rogers Clark led 970 men into battle against the Shawenee Indians. Clark's men burnt 500 acres of corn arround the villiage after they drove off the Indians (who later settled north of Piqua) using artiliary fire. This should be a relatively easy find.
