Geocache Description:

05 September 2021, 14:00 - 17:00

You are invited to participate as we do our part in maintaining Rhode Island's historic cemeteries, one at a time. Please join us for Hobo's Cemetery Improvement, Tidying, and Overhaul (CITO) event, one of many cleanups that will focus on these neglected or time-worn sites.

Hobo's Stone Repair Workshop

This event will be primarily focusing on teaching the basics of stone repair, including how to re-set leaning stones and how to mend broken stones, and to go over stone characteristics, common problems that occur, and the tools used to fix and clean them.

If you not interested in stone repair (or want to take a break from it), there is still plenty of traditional cemetery cleanup work that may be done, such as weeding and raking.

James Arnold visited this lot 5 Jul 1891 (Vol 2, pg 140-177) On the line road [Seven Mile Road] beside it and north of it crossing the apple house hill road is a burial yard of several families adjoining each other though each is distinct in itself.
