Meeting Point: Biddles Point parking lot along C & D Canal (see waypoint)
This is Coastal Clean-up Day in Delaware! Plus it's 9/11 Day of Service! Delaware geocachers have been asked by DNREC to clean up along a portion of the C & D Canal. We will be picking up trash along a section of the C & D Canal, which most of you are very familiar. (From about geocache C & D #116 to #127). Trash bags, gloves and supplies will be provided. You may want to bring your own picker to save your back. Sturdy shoes are a must when around the big rocks long the water. The pathway area along this part of the canal is all paved, so if you want to bike or hike the area, then it's all good. The parking lot is big and there are restroom facilities as well
You earn a cool CITO souvenir for participating! We'll clean up along Red Lion Rd. in October
