Geocache Description:

A Petaluma film geo-tour.

American Graffiti, Basic Instinct, and Peggy Sue Got Married -- these are just a few of the many films that have been partially shot in Petaluma.

This multi-virtual cache takes you on a tour of four Petaluma film locations. If you have not seen these movies, this cache may not be of too much interest. Do not worry though - I am not going to waste your time by taking you to any Howard the Duck locations.

#1. N38 13.825 W122 37.903 At the starting location, note the three digit street address of the green building. If you can?t find the green building, walk across the street to get a drink and call it a day. Take the first digit and use it to replace X.

#2. N38 14.181 W122 38.X49 You should now find yourself in front of a building whose street address adds up to 10. Subtract 1 from the third digit and use the result to replace Y.

#3 N38 13.9Y6 W122 38.YY4 You should now be in front of a building whose street address adds up to 8. Take the first digit and use it to replace Z.

#4 N38 14.0Z7 W122 38.4Z9 You should now be just north of a couple of popular buildings, one of which displays a date that adds up to 12. Have a drink and call it a day. Or head down to the river to conjure up images of Howard the Duck.

To get credit for the cache, e-mail me the answers to the questions below.

Question #1. What was the movie name of the establishment at location #1?
Question #2. Which movie character lived at location #2?
Question #3. In what movie did Hazel Dobkins reside at location #3?
Question #4. Describe the famous movie scene shot at location #4 and what is the date that adds up to 12?
Bonus Question. What is X + Y + Z? Note: Bonus question does not mean much, other than you can prove you know how to add three numbers.
