Geocache Description:


David was a Scottish stonemason who immigrated to Australia in the 19th Century. He left his mark on Colonial Australia building stone structures. This cache will require you to visit a couple of long lasting examples of David’s work. To find the cache you will need to find out information about David and his work.

I am now providing the final south co-ordinates as it would appear that Parramatta council do not want us to know about David and have removed the information sign at S 33° 48.643 E 151° 00.296

Final South Co-ordinate - S33 45.211

To find Final East Co-ordinate proceed to S33 48.636 E151 00.270 You will find information about the structure David built at this location. What year was this named after David? Take the last two digits of the year and add them to the the last three digits of this co-ordinate E150 37.896

After doing your sums you will be well on your way to seeing another example of David’s work.

This cache is a normal size – 2 litre clear container.
