It's That Time of Year Again...

Join us again at the main stage in Bell Buckle for our 6th presentation of the Geocaching International Film Festival at our 19th Annual Halloween Geocaching event which keeps moving further and further from that holiday as this event has evolved to showcase the presentation of the Geocaching International Film Festival for our local community. For those of you that joined us for GeoWoodstock VII it will be a familiar spot, for those who didn't, think of it as an opportunity to visit this "historic" location.

Special Announcement!!

This event has been chosen for a special screening of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF)

Based on the overwhelming success of previous years Geocaching HQ has decided to share the love and the Geocaching International Film Festival by coordinating events around the world to show off these incredible user-submitted films.
With every new incredible geocache container, every clever hide, every log that reads like an epic journey, it becomes more and more apparent: the geocaching community is one of the most creative groups of people on the planet. Thanks to the great folks at Geocaching HQ, around 7:00 PM we’re going to showcase that creativity with a special presentation of the finalists and winners of the Geocaching International Film Festival on the main stage. We will have the big screen and projector set up and the popcorn cooker going. There will be bench seating available, but if you'd prefer to be more comfortable we encourage you to bring your own chairs or blankets.

The Food & Festivities

As usual, we will have a weenie roast at the bonfire with s'mores for dessert. We will provide hot dogs, condiments, buns and the s'mores construction material. With current Covid restrictions, its's probably best if we skip the potluck portion this year but feel free to bring things for yourself and cookies or brownies for me. I will also not be doing the communal hot cider thing, so we ask you to bring anything else you may want to drink. Adult beverages are allowed, but please be discreet, when our little cachers are present and obviously don't "act a fool" as my mom would say. Of course, we will have lots of time to sit around the bonfire and tell tall geocaching tales and discuss the films we just watched. I daresay that the opportunity to chat could go well past the Witching Hour.

The Bottom Line

We look forward to seeing everyone this year, especially after last year's virtually non-existent event. So come on out and join us for the 6th presentation of the Geocaching International Film Festival at our 19th Annual Haunted Halloween Caching Evening.
