Melnragės paplūdimys su Šiauriniu molu yra mėgstamas poilsiautojų – ramiomis dienomis čia patogut mėgautis saulės voniomis. Vėjuotomis dienomis paplūdimį mielai renkasi jėgos aitvarų gerbėjai ir įspūdingi bangomis norintys pasigrožėti klaipėdiečiais. Ir, žinai, Šiaurinis molas yra ideali vieta stebėti praplaukiančius laivus, saulėlydžius ir pasidaryti „instagramiškų“ nuotraukų. Paplūdimys yra ilgas, švelnaus smėliuko, švarus. Čia įrengtos persirengimo kabinos, tualetas, budi gelbėtojai, veikia kavinės. Dar tik svajojantys apie banglentes, gali išbandyti jėgas banglenčių mokykloje.Ilsintis I Melnragės paplūdimyje galima išbandyti pasivaikščiojimus ir dviračiams skirtą taką, jungiantį Klaipėdą su Palanga. Ant Šiaurinio molo taip pat galima rasti skulptūrą „Pasivaikščiojimas su žuvimi“.
