Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the posted coordinates

Seawind graciously allowed me to add a little to this series since it is so much fun. I made sure to get his seal of approval before publishing this as I would rather not add a puzzle that is not up to snuff.

As gone over in earlier caches in this series, one of the many games within the overall Geocaching game is getting and logging a cache daily, also known as maintaining a streak. This can be for a few days, weeks, months or years.

As one gets further into it, it can become quite the challenge as all the caches in one's area are found and now one has to go to further distances to keep their streak alive. There are also other factors like the planned "daily" turns out to be a DNF and one then has to scramble to find something else.

With that in mind, this serves as a backup for such times when one is needed yet none are nearby. If one is not on a streak, they can solve the puzzle and get it as well.

With the introduction complete, Here is the puzzle.

Below are three locations:

LOCATION A

LOCATION B

LOCATION C

As Location C is a question mark, The first step is to identify it.

Here are some facts that will help you identify Location C

  • All three locations are in Utah.
  • Location A is 167.70 degrees from Location C.
  • Location B is 303.83 degrees from Location C.
  • If you have your "Borders and Labels" checked on Google Earth, you will be able to see where I have placed the pins fairly easily.

Once you have identified Location C, with a little research, you should be able to discover what the locals call it. Or you may just know it already and save yourself some time.

Enter the name that the locals call Location C (one word) here.  Then go get the cache, or save it for your rainy day.

I am more than happy to give out hints if needed, as well I live close to the final so should be able to handle any problems that may occur with the container. It is quite small and tweezers will be needed to access the log.

Happy streaking!
