This Bonus Cache final is somewhere along the old Rosseau-Nipissing Road less than 2.5 km from posted, in a place that was once known as Ashdown Corners.
Ashdown Corners was once a thriving settlement that emerged near the northern shores of Lake Rosseau in 1868. But once the railway was built away from the town, the road traffic lessened. Eventually, in the early 1900s, Ashdown Corners became a ghost town.
