Sometimes the best places to go in Minnesota aren't the big cities, but instead the small towns tucked away in quiet valleys. Each has enough stories for a lifetime of research.
This cache will take you to one of those small towns. Just in case you forgot where you were, you'll hopefully find out.
This cache is within Magelssen Bluff Park. It closes at 10:30 PM (not that I'd recommend finding this at night, anyway). A small, unimproved trail leads from the trails near the scenic overlook to GZ. It is listed below as a waypoint. Be sure to watch your step, because it is a long way down. As such I've labelled this cache as 'Not available in winter' - but if you're truly a master at walking on icy slopes, the cache is findable with snow cover.
So the cache does not end up rolling down the hill, it is attached to the beacon with a wire. Please do not remove it from the beacon! Thank you.
