The Challenge
On the whole, our geodog isn't in to geocaching as he is too old and just sleeps in his basket, eats and trots outside as needed. However, there was a time when he loved to get out caching with me. There were some attributes that he looked for to make geocaching even more fun!
The first thing he looked for is the 'long walk' attribute, as he would never admit he was tired. He would also love to have a swim and loved the 'wading' attribute. He is ALWAYS hungry, so the 'food nearby' attribute was something he looked out for.. and of course the 'dogs allowed' attribute !
This challenge is to find just one perfect geocache or caching event that any geodog would love to find or attend - you must have found one cache that has at least three of the four following attributes:
- long walk,
- wading,
- food nearby, and
- dogs allowed
The challenge checker below will verify if you qualify. Use of the Project-GC log is acceptable and recommended.
You need to fulfil the challenge requirements before logging a find. If you sign the log before you qualify, you can write a note and log the find when you do qualify. The difficulty rating reflects the challenge and the terrain rating reflects the access to the cache.
Southwell Park is a great place to bring dogs for a run (when there is no sport being played) and you will need to be careful of muggles.
