In a city with three rivers, bridges play an important role in moving people and goods. This bridge is a foot bridge that crosses Spy Run Creek in Vesey Park at the end of Westbrook Drive. From the center of the bridge, if you look to the north, you can see the remnants of an old car bridge that used to be there. The car bridge was often washed out by high water.
