昭和59年 北鴻巣駅竣工記念会 Kitakounosu station completion memorial party
北鴻巣駅は昭和59年に開業された比較的新しい駅です。 その後すぐ、旧住宅・都市整備公団が駅の東側に大きな団地を開発したため、この駅を利用する人が増えました。
開業当初は駅の西側一面は田んぼが接していたため出入口は東側しかありませんでしたが、その後、徐々に駅の西側の開発が進んだため、漸く平成20年に西口が開設されました。
北鴻巣駅の昨年の利用者はコロナ禍の影響で5,600人でしたが、ここ10数年は8,000人から7,200人程度に漸減しています。
因みに、鴻巣駅、北鴻巣駅、吹上駅の発車メロディは、HANDS-大きな手から小さな手へ です。

Kitakounosu Station is a relatively new station, having been opened in 1984. Shortly thereafter, the former Housing and Urban Development Corporation developed a large apartment complex on the east side of the station, which led to an increase in the number of people using the station. When the station was first opened, there was only one entrance and exit on the east side of the station, because the western side of the station was bordered by rice fields, but later, as the western side of the station was gradually developed, the west exit was finally opened in 2008. The number of users of Kitakounosu Station last year was 5,600 due to the Corona disaster, but the number has been gradually decreasing from 8,000 to 7,200 for the past ten years or so.
