This is the first in a series of caches to memorialize Seattle bars, taverns, and other such establishments that have gone by the wayside for one reason or another. From this vantage point, you can appreciate the onetime site of the Ould Triangle. This pub closed its doors for the last time in late 2019 after serving the neighbourhood for around 15 years.
At the time of cache placement, the building is still there, but it will likely be demolished soon. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Update: As of early 2022, the original building is destroyed, so the original home of the pub is currently a large active construction site. Cache is still very much in play! Planning on doing some maintenance soon, to freshen the log and ensure everything is still in place.
