LT: Raganos šluota yra sumedėjusio augalo, paprastai medžio, deformacija, kai pasikeičia natūrali augalo struktūra. Iš vieno taško auga tanki ūglių masė, o susidariusi struktūra primena šluotą ar paukščio lizdą. Paprastai tariant, tai medžio viršūnės šakų sutankėjimas, kurį sukelia patogenai, pvz. ragangrybių šeimos grybai.
Pasirodo, tokią raganų šluotą turime netoli Suginčių miestelio esančiame miškelyje. Čia, apsupta įvairių lapuočių medžių, auga keista pušis – Suginčių raganos šluota.

It turns out we have such a witch broom in a forest near the town of Suginčiai. Here, surrounded by various deciduous trees, grows a strange pine – witch’s broom of Suginčiai.
Dense vegetation prevented us from taking a photo of the pine, so we left this matter for another season 😊
