The Paroo River often splits into channels, making islands when the river rises. The lower flats here have more green grasses than the 'higher' lands, so you are more likely to see cattle here than elsewhere.
After placing the cache in this great tree next to some heavily eroded gullies, we met a small herd of curious cattle wandering down the road.

They wandered on by seemingly not taking too much notice of what we were doing. The guardian Bull looked at us more closely, but all was good - we all departed amicably on our own pathways!
