Geocache Description:

大竹林山標高303公尺，位於新北市雙溪區，擁有一顆編號988號的三等三角點和礦物課863號基石。此山位於雙溪一帶著名的「雙十縱走」，也就是雙溪到十分的縱走路線上，所以路況被整理的相當不錯。從登山口行走約一小時即可到達山頂，沿途並無困難地形，是相當優質的踏青步道，續行則可沿稜登上新路尾山等山頭後到達十分車站。
