The old road that connects Incino to Cismon
There is an old road that, from Cismon del Grappa, leads to Incino, in the Municipality of Arsiè. Take it on the right, coming from the town center, immediately after the bridge over the Cismon stream and after the small road that leads to the church of the Madonna del Pedancino.
It is a particularly narrow path that, after the first two hairpin bends, runs between rock walls (for a stretch it is characterized by a real natural roof) that descend from the overhanging ridges and the ravine of the Cismon gorge, under the dam of the Corlo. This road serves the inhabitants of Incino and of the hamlet of Corlo, but also of the Rocca, to descend more easily in Valbrenta.
The bottom was completely rebuilt after the terrible flood of November 1966 when the water made it impracticable by digging deep holes. The route in question, a couple of kilometers long from Cismon to Incino, is also of great tourist interest because it is a daily destination for cyclists who want to reach Feltre safely without traveling along the very busy Valsugana state road and the old state road of the Rolle along Primolano.
