5 Little Monkeys do Lindeman Lake
7 LIttle Monkeys and their moms were camping at Vedder Lake this year. The annual hike was too daunting for one mom, so the bravest 2 brought their 5 Little Monkeys up to see the splendour of Lindeman Lake! We found some gaps along the upwards portion. Since we appreciated the quick breaks for the kids, to stop the whining on the steeper portions, we thought others might too... When it's only 200 metres to the next stop, they can make it! Lindeman is a glacier fed lake, so it's freezing cold and crystal clear! The trail up is a super highway of people, so come early to park in the lot, or there is plenty of road side parking. Toilets at the top and bottom, it's a 1.8 km one way trip up some natural stairs with about 200 metres elevation gain. Many families with kids and grandparents were out. With these breather breaks, very doable for most. You may chose to continue to Green Lake, which is a much less visited destination, but an easy hike over. From there out, the hike becomes more intense... Enjoy the lake!

This one is PET tube type container. In behind the HUGE boulder, just a few steps off the trail. If it's too busy, please pass it by and try on your way down. If it's still too busy, leave it for another trip. Thanks!
