This is a 'tucked-away' gem of a location, being only a stones throw from the Quarry Park and Shrewsbury Town Centre.
If approaching via the Quarry Park head out of town over the Kingsland Toll bridge- which was built in 1881 and is the second cheapest toll road in the Uk being only 20p for cars, and free to pedestrians. You can then head up Kenedy Road or Beehive lane if on foot. The path then joins The Cinder path, which runs between Kennedy Road and Longden Road. The path gets steeper and narrower towards the Longden Road end.
The Cinder path passes through a lovely wooded area with a little bridge over the Rad Brook, and on quiet days you could feel like you were out in the country.
