Welcome to the "WH" series of caches!
Where? ----- You are starting your adventure in Teeterville on a section of the Big Creek.
All containers have been purposely placed over deeper water and away from the shoreline. These caches are meant to be found by the water route only. Trying to grab them by the land method will mean you are trespassing. The cache placements themselves are from simple paddle up grabs, to pull me downs and some stand up grabs.
You will find the pond a little shallow in sections and it is best to follow the deeper channels through the lily pads on the western side of the pond to easily advance up the river to the caches placed at the northern end. The river portion is a nice paddle. I had noted that any fallen trees had been cut back and cleared. Any logs in the water I easily negotiated over or around while I placed the caches.
Hunting is allowed in the pond area, so please plan you visit accordingly.
Parking has been waypointed and from the signs ...... stay away from the dam.
One can easily walk under the bridge with your vessel and launch on the other side of the road, away from the dam.
Always wear your lifejacket and enjoy your stay!
